Ty Snelling is co-owner at Higher Ground at 3300 South and 20th East in Millcreek. Snelling is partnering with friend and mountain climber Kyle Dempster to put in a new coffeee shop and drive thru in the parking lot near Black Diamond, at about 2050 East 3900 South in Holladay. This new shop will be unique because it will be constructed out of four shipping containers. The two story structure will have outdoor seating, solar panels and a drive-through, and is expected to open in January 2013 and serve customers 7 days a week.
