Five of sixteen rescued poodles cower inside some of the shelter's wicker furniture as they await their turn to be shaved Monday, June 15, 2009. There was so much filth embedded in their fur that shaving them was the best starting point to begin cleaning them up. Over the weekend, the Utah Animal Adoption Center, rescued sixteen poodles that were found in the home of a man who had passed away. They were found in horrific conditions. The Center also rescued a Springer Mix mom, who had her front paw amputated, and her three puppies.
