Jessica Pierce, 24, of Fillmore was recently diagnosed with heart problems. Her father, Mark, 59, a retired federal worker who also served with the Army and National Guard who has federal blue cross has her daugher covered under that program. Jessica who is scheduled to complete some cardiac tests on Friday in Cedar City received a phone call from the preregistration folks who told her that she would have to pay prior to the test what they projected the insurance would not cover or she may be denied the tests.
