Care Burpee places socks on her blind 11-year-old daughter Winter, who was shaken as an infant by her father. Winter cannot speak or eat solid food. "It is very much a thing where people just don't know what to do with a little baby who is crying and they make a very, very, poor, poor decision," Care Burpee said.
