Han, 30, who enlisted in the Army in 2008, died alongside another soldier on Friday, October 23, 2009 when the vehicles in which they were riding were struck by a coordinated two-strike roadside bomb attack near Kandahar, Afghanistan. Eleven other soldiers were wounded in the ambush.
