"To a man, we all said that we were better men... that we were better people because of our relationship with him and there is no better legacy than that." — Rick Findlay, friend Cawley, 41, of Layton, was crushed when a coalition Humvee rolled over him during the push to Baghdad. The Marine Corps staff sergeant was assigned to Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, in Salt Lake City.
