“He had the warrior spirit and sealed his duty to honor and country with his own blood.” — Brian Tarbet, Utah National Guard adjutant general Wood, 28, of Cedar City, was killed when a roadside bomb detonated near his Humvee. The Army sergeant first class was assigned to the Army National Guard's 148th Field Artillery, in Brigham City.
