Air Force Staff Sgt. Patrick Pentico -- a 32-year-old Hanksville native -- and eight other servicemen died when their MC-130H combat Talon II aircraft crashed March 31 in a remote, mountainous area southeast of the Albanian capital of Tirana.
   
    Two days later, Marine Lance Cpl. Tenzin Chuku Dengkhim was killed during a firefight in the Al Anbar province in Iraq, where he served as part of 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion in the 2nd Marine Division based at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
   
    Born in India in 1985, Dengkhim, a Buddhist, came to the United States in 1996 to join his mother, who was among the first of a group of Tibetan refugees to move to Utah in 1992.
