The Salt Lake Tribune recognizes the sponsors that have helped bring newspapers into classrooms during the year. Their support helps The Salt Lake Tribune's NIE employees offer material that teaches students about critical thinking, math, social studies, economics, geography, the environment, art, language skills and many other disciplines. Sponsors also receive logo recognition in all promotional ads and direct mail flyers. For more sponsor information, e-mail reader.advocate@sltrib.com.

Become a sponsor:
The Salt Lake Tribune is always looking for companies to sponsor the delivery of newspapers to classrooms in Utah. Developing an informed and curious citizenry is part of the media's role that The Tribune takes seriously. If you are interested in making a donation and becoming a sponsor for this important program, please contact:
Steve Kelsey, Vice President for Circulation at 801-237-2920.

Sponsorship Opportunities:
Each day several thousand copies of The Salt Lake Tribune are read by students in classrooms across Utah. We understand how strapped for cash our teachers and schools are, so there is no charge to schools or teachers for these important copies. The cost of these newspapers is supported by businesses, foundations, civic organizations, private individuals and our home readers. Anyone can become a sponsor and even the smallest contribution can make a difference. Every penny of your donation goes directly to classroom newspapers.

Corporate Sponsorship:
The Tribune in Education program offers local and national businesses and organizations a way to contribute to the communities they serve and be recognized for their contributions. Your company can join the ranks of other civic minded organizations looking for public relations benefits right now. Each sponsorship agreement is customized to maximize benefits to both sponsor and education partner.

Vacation Donation & Customer Contributions:
The vacation donation program provides our home delivery customers an opportunity to participate in the sponsorship program in a convenient and affordable way. We ask subscribers to donate papers to the Tribune In Education program that they would have otherwise canceled during a vacation or other absence from the home.
While your gift is not considered tax deductible, 100 percent of the donation is put in a special account used to pay school subscriptions. When calling Subscription Services at 801-237-2900, ask to have the cost of those newspapers donated to the Tribune In Education program. Each dollar is equal to about 6 newspapers. A few papers from each of our thousands of subscribers add up for our community of student readers. You don't have to be going on vacation to support our schools. A donation is welcome at any time!
