On March 26, 2003, the Air Force Reserve unit at
Hill Air Force Base hosted a media opportunity for reporters interested
in documenting its warfighting capabilities.
The 419th Fighter Wing has aircraft and maintainers
serving in the Middle East on active duty and contributing to
Operation Iraqi Freedom. While specific details of the deployed
mission were not discussed, pilots and maintainers provided reporters
with hands-on demonstrations of equipment currently being used
